I must agree with kevin---I too agree with zack (i just like playing devil's advocate and starting arguments---especiallly on this site) one other thing I also agree with Kevin about is that this site has become far too chatty and just like and internet survey, does anyone have any topics that we can really discuss and not just say stuff.....I got one...if anyone feels like responding---many of us are straight-edge-is it ever ok to do drugs?? when?? what?? and one more--if your answer is no, would you seperate yourself from a friend who began to do drugs??

I think our brains work on a system of precedents. I see the water bottle. I turn away, and remember that the water bottle is there. It may or may not actually be there when I turn around, but from what I have experienced, water bottles dont just get up and move. The water bottle was there + all the water bottles I've seen don't move = the water bottle will still be there. Everything comes from experience and our senses.

I think you can know something- you can know what you see, you may not understand it but you will remember it and know what it has potential of being or what it may be. for example i know the water bottle in front of me is there, even if i'd never seen a water bottle in my life i'd still know that whatever it was it was there- and thats knowing something.

Sorry, I totally cooled off on this site for a while. It needs some revitalization. I would meet Maynard, of course, and I would meet Timothy Leary. If I couldn't fail, I would do whatever the hell I wanted. Probably selfish stuff at first, but I would help people too. Here are a few interesting questions: What is the difference between humans and animals? Where did everything come from? Can you ever really KNOW anything? Answer none or one or some or all, I care not.

just one note on the train thing....when I asked that question I was asking it from a holistic standpoint, as if you were god, not as if you were a jury...but however you choose to interpret it is cool.....I dunno who I would meet, and if I couldn't fail....I would not do anything except for fun.....I mean most of the reasons I do a lot of the things I do is because I want to prove that I can...and if you can't fail....what's teh point??

I would meet hitler and figure out how insane he was. and maybe some other insane dictators or republicans... figure out how they think their ideas help people and if I could not fail, I would become make everyone happy. then I would make computer games or something...
